Fairtex vs. other brands of gloves

Comfort - First and foremost one of the best reasons to choose the right glove is the comfort level for the user. Fairtex offers many different styles so it is important to choose the right style for your intended purpose of use. As an owner of the 16 oz muay thai gloves shown in the above picture, I can assure you that these gloves provide an awesome feel from the first moment you strap them on. As an assistant instructor for the U.S. Army's Modern Army Combat Program I use them often. I share them with my fellow instructors who consistently ask to use them during one of the key drills of the program.

Durability - Each user will be different in their form and style of workouts. I have had my Fairtex gloves for over a year now. I use them against bags along with the body's and faces of the students that come the Modern Army Combatives Program. They still feel great every time I put them on. The velcro straps are still perferct with no frays. No form of extensive wear or tear can be seen, noticed, or felt in any way.

Protection - Even more than comfort level, protection is the single biggest reason why a user should choose a product. As an owner of the 16 oz. gloves I have never had a single injury to my fingers hands or wrists. I do use wraps everytime I wear the gloves, as anyone should each time they wear gloves. As far as protection for the equipment and or opponent these gloves are used against I have yet to see any unforseen acts occur. Since the gloves are so durable they do not cause any cuts or harm the bags they are used against. Injuries are common to opponents who do not protect themselves. However, with the use of these gloves the only injuries that have occured to students I have instructed have come from the force of the blow and not due to a unserviceable glove.

Variety - Fairtex offers an aresonal of glove varieties.  From classic bag gloves, to mma/nhb style to the muay thai style like the ones in the picture above.  Each one of these sytle comes in a multitude of colors for the user to choose from.  Some styles like the muay thai style also come in different oz's.  The important part is for the user to choose a style, size and color that they like and represents their own particular style the best.

Cost

As with starting any hobby or new activity there will be start up costs with obtaining new equipment to train with.  What I like about the Fairtex products I have tried is that they will last.  So it is good to  know that when you finally do decied what product to select that it will last you for a very long time.  When purchasing items such as gloves that will not only last but will protect you and whatever type of opponent you train with. Costs can range depending on the size and style of the glove.   At the lower side you may be able to find light 4 oz mma style gloves from around 40 dollars.  On the opposite side of normal use for boxing gloves you can find gloves costing all the up to $90.  Some more experienced users can still go beyond and find higher end items costing more.
